IDABEL, Okla. – Wednesday’s scheduled Prospective Teacher Academy at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University McCurtain County Campus will be rescheduled for a date to be announced later.
Tuesday morning’s storms caused significant damage in Ada, which is home to keynote speaker and 2024 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Rachel Keith. Keith and University officials will coordinate a new date for the McCurtain County event to ensure the best experience possible for both presenters and attendees.
Next week’s event in Durant will still continue as scheduled.
