2025 Southeastern Honors graduates saluted at annual banquet

The Honors Program at Southeastern Oklahoma State University celebrated 17 program members who will be graduating in spring and summer of 2025 at its annual banquet on Monday night in the Hallie McKinney Ballroom.

The Honors Program curriculum is a four-year sequence of courses designed to build upon one another to give our students a rounded liberal arts education. Courses layer together to broaden students’ perspectives and advance their critical thinking and communication skills. Honors Program graduates must complete 30 Honors hours.

The Southeastern Honors Program is under the direction of Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch, who presented Honors Program graduates with a certificate and medal to be worn at commencement services. Students who were able to attend the banquet selected a faculty member to present their medals to them at the banquet.

Honors Program graduates and presenting faculty members for 2025 are:

  • Wyatt Achenbach, a computer science major from Bokchito, medal presented by Elijah Marshall
  • Brady Brister, a general business major from Kingston
  • Audrey Conard, an aviation professional pilot major from Plano, Texas, medal presented by Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch
  • Morgan Dunn, an accounting major from Calera, medal presented by Rachel Childers
  • Zane Hilburn, a finance major from Durant, medal presented by Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch
  • Katherine Hodge, a mathematics education December graduate from Denison, medal presented by Dr. Kevin Faulk
  • Leslie Klement, a mathematics major from Bokchito, medal presented by Dr. Brett Elliott
  • Faith Kruebbe, a psychology major from Carthage, Texas
  • Addison McCortney, a mathematics major from Ada, medal presented by Kevin Faulk
  • Ty Myers, a management major from Commerce, Texas
  • James Pack, a computer science major from Milburn, medal presented by Dr. Kyle Lincoln
  • Cordell Palmer, an English major from Durant, medal presented by Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch
  • Taylor Patton, a computer science major from Mead, medal presented by Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch
  • Madeline Schutts, a chemistry major from Durant, medal presented by Kevin Faulk
  • Emilie Thiry, a clinical psychology and sociology major from Oklahoma City
  • Tess Walton, a zoology major from Caney, medal presented by Dr. Jake Pruett
  • Avri Weeks, a biological health sciences major from Kingston, medal presented by Dr. Meg Cotter-Lynch
