- Second Annual “Small Town Christmas” to be held on Southeastern campus December 5-6
Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with ongoing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
The Southeastern Oklahoma State University campus will transform into a festive holiday wonderland for the Second Annual “Small Town Christmas” held Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6.
Over two days, the historic campus in Durant will be filled with carriage rides through twinkling streets, fun games and activities, pictures with Santa, and Stories with Mrs. Claus.
The Vendor Market will have unique holiday gifts, handmade crafts, festive treats, and seasonal delights from local artisans and vendors.
Vendor spots are still available and more information on the events can be found at www.SE.edu/smalltown. Changes to the schedule of events will be made on the event webpage.
3-9 p.m. – Vendor Market open
5-9 p.m. – Carriage Rides and Games
6-9 p.m. – Crafts, Pictures with Santa, and Stories with Mrs. Claus
6 p.m. – Performance by Head to Toe Dance
7-9 p.m. – Performance by Southeastern Percussion Ensemble
10 a.m.-9 p.m. – Vendor Market open
5-9 p.m. – Carriage Rides and Games
6-9 p.m. – Crafts, Pictures with Santa, and Stories with Mrs. Claus
6-8 p.m. – Performance by Southeastern Chorale
