- Southeastern to celebrate summer 2026 graduates during July 24 commencement ceremony
DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will hold its 2026 summer commencement ceremony on Friday, July 24, in Durant at 6 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The summer 2026 graduating class includes 505 total students: 100 baccalaureate degree recipients, 405 graduate degree recipients, and 23 certificate recipients.
Graduates represent 45 states, six countries, and 15 sovereign Tribal Nations.
Among the graduating class, 185 graduates have identified as first-generation status, with 30 indicating legacy status – having a parent or grandparent who previously graduated from Southeastern. More than 95 percent of the class is graduating with a degree in a field included on Oklahoma’s Critical Occupation List.
Friday’s ceremony will be streamed live on Southeastern’s website www.SE.edu and on the university’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.
