Biography
James Altman is the assistant comptroller in the Office of Finance at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Altman is responsible for developing, improving and issuing timely monthly financial records to director of finance/comptroller and top management; overseeing the general accounting function, which includes cash management/reconciliation, wires, financial reporting, and balance sheet management (excluding inventory related items); and working with Business Office Staff in refunding dollars to students through the use of Higher One via the Oklahoma State Treasurer wire transfer process. Altman has been in his current position since 2018.
