Biography
Kevin Faulk is the C.A.R.E.S. coordinator and math lecturer in the Learning Center at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Faulk is responsible for teaching and/or overseeing developmental math classes (elementary algebra, intermediate algebra, and co-requisite math courses); assisting, developing, and overseeing CARES support labs; overseeing and training staff for the Writing Center; training student teachers and adjuncts to teach developmental math courses; assisting in developing and administering Learning Center programs, which evaluate and improve student retention through analyzing trends, developing curriculum, programs, and services; assisting in maintaining student databases and evaluating/updating professional testing programs. Faulk also assists with entry-level assessment (CPT) and administers CLEP exams, monitors and updates BOLT and STORM learning modules, and he coordinates CARES programs (including data collection and reports). Faulk has been in his current position since January 2019.
