Biography

Autumn Hurley is an academic advisor for the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Lewis is responsible for identifying and selecting eligible participants for project services, building and maintaing confidential files on all participants documenting services provided, and monitoring and tracking progress of participant data in project database; establishing a working relationship through personal contact and group meetings with adults, eligible high school seniors (not served by a Talent Search program), service agencies, and educational institutions of the target area, maintaining positive relations with staff, participants, community referrals, host institution, secondary and postsecondary schools; and counseling eligible participants concerning career options, educational goals, and academic and financial planning; and assisting the director and assistant director with other duties assigned within the scope of the program goals. Rutherford has been in her current position since 2018.
