Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with ongoing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.

Karen Prus is a secretary in the Department of Social Sciences at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Prus is responsible for processing essential paperwork, maintaining data and files; managing budget, purchases, supplies; and communication with faculty, administration, staff and students. Prus has been in her current position since August 2000.
