Biography
Dr. David Whitlock is the interim dean - John Massey School of Business/endowed chair in entrepreneurship at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Whitlock's responsibilities include:
-Management of the School of Business with three major divisions: Aviation Sciences Institute, which has two academic departments, the AACSB Business Programs, which includes two academic departments, and its graduate program, and the Occupational Safety and Health Department.
-Budgeting, staffing, and university policy compliance for the academic departments and graduate programs within the School of Business. Coordination with the Graduate Dean and the Schools Graduate Directors for successfully fulfilling the missions of the School's graduate programs.
-Oversee and coordinate with the ASI Director, OSH Chair, and JMSB Associate Dean for the successful ongoing accreditation of the business programs through AACSB, the aviation program through AABI, and the OSH program through BCSP.
Whitlock has been in his current position since April 2023.
