Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be closed through Wednesday, January 28, in the interest of health and safety of students, faculty, and staff with continuing winter weather conditions. Essential services will be provided to residential students on campus, but other academic and business functions will be closed. Online and remote learning classes will proceed as scheduled. This closure applies to the Durant and McCurtain County campuses. Other satellite facilities will follow local guidance.
Southeastern’s 2+2 program is an initiative aimed at providing students enrolled in surrounding area community colleges the opportunity to easily transfer credit to Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The program allows students to take two years worth of classes toward a specified degree program at a community college and finish the last two years at Southeastern to graduate with a degree conferred by Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Total hours needed for graduation: 124
Hours needed from a 4-year College: 60
Hours which must be taken at Southeastern: 30
Upper-division hours (3000/4000 level) required: 40
Hours than can be transferred from a Community College: 64
Each degree plan presented is subject to change by either Southeastern or the respective Community College. Please consult an advisor for possible changes.
